Payment TERMS FOR ONLINE TEACHING SERVICES
By paying for and participating in classes, you are agreeing to all policies set forth below.
Cancellation Policy
By enrolling and participating in the online teaching services provided by theospeakeasy.com, you agree to the following payment terms:
Payment
- Payment for the online teaching services must be made in advance for a month of classes.
- The agreed-upon fees for the month must be paid in full before the first class commences.
- All fees paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Prices quoted are in euros. If paying in another currency, you are responsible for all transaction and/or currency conversion fees.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- If you need to cancel a scheduled class, you must provide theospeakeasy.com with at least 48 hours’ advance notice in writing at hello@theospeakeasy.com
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to a 50% class fee (50% class fee).
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to 100% class fee (no refund). - In the event of a cancellation made with more than 48 hours’ notice, theospeakeasy.com will make its best efforts to reschedule the class for a mutually agreed-upon time slot.
Refunds
- Refunds will only be issued in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of theospeakeasy.com.
- Requests for refunds must be made in writing and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Late Payments
- Failure to make payment for the month of classes in advance may result in the cancellation of your enrollment in the online teaching services.
- If you fail to make timely payments, theospeakeasy.com reserves the right to withhold access to the online teaching services until payment is received.
- Please read these payment terms carefully. By enrolling and participating in our online teaching services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these payment terms.

Behavior
- Please be punctual. Classes start and end on time. If you are late to class, it will end at the original end time. This is to ensure subsequent classes start on time.
- Please be respectful. Due to the intimate nature of language learning through conversation, there may be times we have differences of opinion.
- Please have fun! I strive to create a convivial atmosphere of learning. Stuffy ESL teacher I am not! But if there’s something you’d like to formally work on, I welcome your input.
Privacy Policy
When you sign up for classes with me or contact me through this site, I receive basic information from you, such as your name, email address, and IP address. When you make a payment, I may receive other identifying information associated with your PayPal/Stripe/Bizum account or other financial institution. I may use your information to contact you or confirm a booking. I do not share or sell your personal information with third parties.
